Analog to Digital convertion

Postby klfoomy » Wed, 31 May 2006 10:19 pm

Dear Evelyn ,

Currrently my company is selling a solutions from Korea that can convert from an old analog (flim) X-ray to a Digital output that complie with HL7 ( Dicom) format that can link to PACS.

what is the major concern that would arise from the radiologist about the solutions?

Thanks

The major considerations would be
1. COST, cost, cost
2. Ease of use - user friendly software
3. Hardware that is compact and space saving
4. quality of the converted image
5. Storage
6. Support and maintenance issues

Regards,
Dr Evelyn Ho
